![]() I wonder if she will end up being the MCU's Dark Phoenix? She's still relatively young and not yet reached the extent of her powers in MCU. ![]() If we were to go by the comics version, she could have had the entire Chitauri army chew their own legs off trying to kill all the mini-Avengers illusions crawling up them. That's one of the things that disappointed me: Scarlet Witch isn't a mere telekinetic, and she's basically devolved into one since AoU. BUT, the movies have done nothing to show just how powerful she really is, so I guess we live with what we have. One of the most powerful mutants in the MCU and she was taking punches like she couldn't have destroyed the entire battlefield in an instant. She tanked some hits in IW that would have laid out a regular human. She's not vulnerable to damage like a regular human, at least not the MCU version. The Scarlet Witch's outfit is ridiculous from the perspective of the character who feels heat and cold and is vulnerable to damage just like any regular human. Except possibly the hulk but he's invulnerable. Then again, none of them are calling that their preferred fighting gear. Even with Joss Whedon again in the director's chair, this isn't going to be an Avengers 2. It's no easy task to follow on the heels of a blockbuster like The Avengers, much less to do so in small-screen format and without all of your headliners. This series is a thrilling ride that won't disappoint. and its new team of supernatural-power-enhanced Secret Warriors are ready to take on that threat - by any means necessary. The world may be under threat from villainous groups like Hydra, but S.H.I.E.L.D.
